Activity: A guided self-assessment

The following exercise should help you further understand where you come from, what shaped your body & mind in the past and what is influencing your life in the present.

Take a good look at every question asked. How would you rate your current situation on a scale of 1 to 10? Think about what made you choose the number and write it down. This group of questions is primarily focused on your personal life (we will go more professional later) but you can totally use it for both areas.


  • Do you feel clear-headed, engaged, and intellectually challenged?
  • In which situations do you feel the most engaged, motivated?
  • Which situation brings you down usually?
  • What can you do to avoid these situations?
  • How can you deal with these situations if they appear?


  • Does your body feel healthy?
  • What do you do to make it feel healthy and strong?
  • How do your eating habits influence your health?
  • Do you get enough movement?
  • Can you do something to improve the state of your physical health?

Emotions & relationships

  • Do you feel at peace with the world around you?
  • Are you surrounded by people that make you feel loved and appreciated?
  • Do you take time to engage in activities that make you unwind and feel happy?
  • Do you spend time in places that bring you peace of mind?
  • Do you surround yourself with people who cherish and support you?
  • How can you make your relationships better?


  • Do you feel interested in and fulfilled by what you do?
  • When did you last feel proud of yourself for doing a great job?
  • What was the situation that made you feel bad about your professional skills?
  • How to avoid this situation in the future?


  • Do you feel loved? Either by yourself or people around you?
  • Do you feel like you make a difference?
  • Are you happy with the way you are?
  • What can you do to feel better about yourself?
